This is a special edition Companion tray. Courtesy of a good friend Freddy at Fat Freddy's Creations in Los Angeles. As you can see the Fleur-de-lis has been inlaid into the tray with some beautiful abalone shell. Abalone is a shellfish. A member of the mollusk family, so oysters are a distant cousin. Abalone is prized for the array of beautiful colors inside their shells. This is a one of one, so a very special piece.
